The vehicle S/N is stamped on the dash data plate.  That is the vin number.  You should have had this on your trailer also.  I have a 1967 M151A1 and a 1967

Thank God! The person I obtained my Mutt from had already jumped through all of those hoops prior to my owning the vehicle. Mine has a Arizona Assigned Number,

I was thinking the same thing...if the DMV of your state insists that there is a VIN number on the frame then get a sheet of metal and have it stampped and
